I don't think it's that slow paced. It's just that there was a long hiatus.
I don’t know if it’s the pace but I also thing that the plot devices are a bit... shallow? Like to move the plot along what the characters relate with are so minuscule that it’s really unimpressive when they make up haha...
like the thing with the cookies and likening or disliking sweets... it’s like okay, he doesn’t like sweets, don’t make it such a big deal that it becomes a plot device to make two complete strangers get closer together...??

I can understand the interest with adventuring, but on other such small devices seem a bit, unimportant and minor to deepen someone relationship.... idk that’s just me I guess?
Does anyone know the manga of the couple on the translators page came from?
