Tbh, I think authors or mangakas (whatever) start with rape to make things work faster. So that it can develop to a romance without the character trying to deny their feelings, love conflicts etc. So they just start of carnal and develop into love. I agree when people say jeanette is still a child. but it doesn't mean she has to be THIS stupid. she isn't blind, she can see everything just right but refuses to accept the facts. no, princess won't like it if you're her sister. no, claude won't like you if you're his daughter. she believes everything easily. I also think the author has put too much focus on jeannette and she's overstayed her welcome in the story, but like really? Death isn't something you just wish on every character you dont like. Maybe youre desensitized since it's fiction, but I don't think death is something to be taken so lightly like this, especially since the kid in question has definitely not done anything deserving of the death penalty
You all seriously need psychological evaluation if you think that a child, even if they're naive or not, deserves to be killed for wanting a family. It's ok to dislike her, but saying she deserves to be killed is just...very concerning. Remember that Jeanette is basically in the same position that Athy was in, in the OG story. She's obviously alot less intelligent than Anthy, that reason being Anthy is literally an adult that was reincarnated, so she's able to do things that a regular child probably couldn't. I agree that I would like for her to see things as they are but I don't think she's come to realize yet that her biological dad is using her. I feel like she's starting to see that Anthy may not like it but she doesn't want to believe it.
