This Manhua is painful to read but that what makes me keeps reading. It's not painful because the story is awful, it's painful because we can see the character's pain yet we are unable to find a solution. There's so many things going on (politically too), sometimes my brain hurts thinking about it. Also, how they portray depression, and other mental problems. The story is realistic in the aspect of even main characters are not always mentally happy. I hope people would stop invalidating postpartum pregnancy depression tooo. It's real. People do suffer this IRL and with this story I hope people are less ignorant about it.
Though at the end I still wish for the Leads to be happy, because they do actually love each other, I am still curious as to what more problems will arise and how they deal with it. Also, let's not forget how there's no magic and OP characters here. Everything is based on the power of their own brains and cunningness, even the "strongest" have their limits.

Why is she mad towards Lancelot??

i don't think she's mad at him nor blame him, i just think she's indifferent (for the lack of better term) towards him?? like she just chose to not hold onto their promise when they were children or just wait for a knight in shining armor to come and save her. i mean he is someone she hasn't met in Years so i definitely understand why she's kind of distant towards him, she's really not obligated to be friendly with him anyways. just my thoughts ^___^
