Personally I like it a lot BUT it’s super slow burn. I think the characterisation is rlly rlly good, but in terms of pacing it’s different from most other BL that moves super fast. Like they haven’t become romantic yet from what I can see so if u would want them to be clearly into eachother by now (currently ch47) u might not like it

i actually love slowburn so that’s not an issue! i mean more like plot-wise/ story-wise, is it good? it feels so slow in that department

i dropped it at chap 5 last month bc I thought I wouldn't like the "body swap" kind of trope but I binge read last week bc I was bored and it get muuuuch better as you learn more of the characters and as the story progress. Definitely a slow burn but a good one at least ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Both are good ! The manhwa did follow the novel, if you want to get vision about what the action looks like then the manhwa is for you and it always leaves confusion in which pov is talking. You can read the novel to be more updated and just have fun in total, since the novel is already completed (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I noticed how second and third generation rich young masters always call the hired cook "auntie" and the choffer "uncle" in Chinese BLs (I kinda liked that cause I too had an "auntie" of sorts growing up, and she WAS like family)

That really doesn't bother me too much because it's a mythology or in this case, a 'fanfic' of the Egyptian mythology. In some myths, there is always an incestuous relationship. The Greek has Gaia and Uranus (mother/son), Zeus and Hera(siblings), the Japanese one has Izanami and Izanagi (twins). Even Isis and Osiris, Nepthys and Seth are siblings. Same thing for their parents.
