coming from the chapter in the novel where hubbard commissions and collects the mannequin of the vice captain of his team, indescribable feelings well up... it's heartbreaking. The manhua adapted this scene perfectly, I felt the pain when hubbard stated that there were things left unspoken, with the connotation that those things will forever stay unspoken now, whispers in dreams of what could have been, as the only recipient of those words has left without a trace. A life left stagnant, and a desperation to see his partner's face once more. When he saw the image of his partner yet again... the expression he had on his face. man.
I read a lot of genres but I feel like the isekai, regression, overpowered mc, villainess fantasy genres have become staples in manhwa, this website overflooded with a bunch of them - some bad, some meh. It's becoming harder to find super good ones.
Within these common genres, do you have any not as well known recs that took you for surprise - the execution done particularly well?
If you have any favourite non-mainstream manga/manhwa's to recommend, please type them down too ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
this one super underrated but super good! trust me!

Ya know how it's going, when something is good then it gets popular, so most popular ones, are also good/uniqe ones. When something is not popular then it's often just not cup of tea for most people or for example drawing style is not good, even through plot is nice. It's just that kind of mechanism and that's how it works. Of course, everyone may have some favorite not-so-famous manga/manhwa, but most likely this particular comic will appeal only to that person, but will not appeal to the rest of the population.
From less popular manga and manhwa, I particulary liked these:

Everytime a question like this pops up, I wonder what exactly counts as popular? Maybe when it's rated by less than 300 readers? Or where's the line?
@Yomix
That's the case for the allocation of low or high ratings but not really for the number of ratings because that also depends on how readers look for things to read and if people talk/write about the stories for others to notice/ if it's promoted by anyone. So I can't really agree with "good => popular" so I also don't think it can simply be reversed to "not so good => unpopular"
Anyway, these have less than or just around 300 ratings but I like both story & art in each. Only the webtoons in the last paragraph have a maybe not so mainstream drawing style- and they're less than half of my recs...

That was a horrible way to respond to Taiga’s confession. From how I see it, Kei is scared and totally traumatised by his past experiences (fair) which resulted in a defensive response that basically blamed taiga for the traits he picked up from his profession. Not blaming Kei’s trauma, just questioning the way he delivered that sentence across to Taiga. It just feels like Kei was only thinking about himself in the relationship they’ve built. Of course, I only get to say this because I’m a reader who gets to see the dilemmas taiga is going through. BUT SO FRUSTRATING BRUH PLEASE TAIGA NEEDS A HUG RN
