Lacking? Nothing was lacking in here. In fact, it fulfills me so much that I want more. Reading this I realize I'm messed up in my head. It's so easy to develop a Stockholm syndrome when you're craving for sth you don't even know what it is.
The ending could go anyway and this one as well. Do they live happily ever after? I doubt it. Their relationship is built on toxic emotions. Someday it'll break. Tbh this didn't go darker because besides rape, the stalker didn't harm hyunsung physically. From the story, he doesn't seem to be capable to. Probably because he's neither a psychopath nor a sociopath.
OK so I had a little hope because the author did not pair Carter with the first guy he met. And I like how rivals turned to love interest. I meant they kinda have chemistry. It just wasn't played right enough..
I also love that character like Zac gets to be the main interest because usually good bois end up not getting chosen.
The problem is Carter.. I like that he thought of a way to get rid of all of them at once. But it was bad taste, I admit, and he knew it. Thus, he should try to sort this out to make him feeo better and not.. being indecisive.. And leaving Zac alone when he rented a whole damn bar?? Bad decision, bitch.. You're a jerk now...
Anyway, I'll try to look forward to when all these weird tensions are gone..
Y'all may be complaining how they're not communicating enough, but I think they solve conflicts pretty fast. The only thing is, they are all conflicted with themselves..
This story is very unique, so it's not gonna be everyone's cup of tea. The beginning was confusing because the story didn't introduce the character nor explain the background. Everything was just put there. But it grows on you as you keep reading.
I was about to drop this but I like how lighthearted this feel yet there are also realistic feels to the story.
It's not hard to understand but the plot is all over the place.. It has too weird a pace to take this seriously.. The occasional twisted face was, imo, funny instead of disturbing..
Maybe it's because I don't understand how Miha developed a Stockholm syndrome like that. Maybe because author didn't invest much in making audience empathize the characters.
I found every one of them detestable.
Miha does not have Stockholm syndrome.
Stockholm syndrome. A person falls in love with the Captor. Miha was never captured, he has no captor. Story shows he was in love with Sohwa before the sexual abuse happens.
I think the story and plot is straight forward but we have a mystery in a few things to where it is “the plot is wherever”
And this is not Stockholm syndrome.

I love their awkward sex lmao
