These gay lil pirates and gay lil celestial beings. They live rent-free in my mind. Every single fucking day, I think of them. Every fiber of my being exists for them. I blink, breathe, live for them. I would absolutely crush anyone who gets in their way. They are the reason why I exist.

people who act like asian queer content is bad or fetishistic while praising western queer content for doing the same thing are extremely weird and questionable

I definitely think Banana Fish is underrated because people interpret it under the context of "yaoi" even though it's barely even BL. Don't get me wrong, I like reading BL, but this one by far has the best relationship that relies purely on their emotional bond. The thing that drew me the most in the Banana Fish is how grounded it was to reality. N......

ignoring what a stupid thing this is to ask, it just baffles me how fujos genuinely act as if strap-ons aren't a thing. like, go fulfill your fantasies and peg a dude. nobody gives a shit, plus you don't even have to be a guy to do that lmao

Hahaha how hypocritical you lot are. If people question why a story with a relationship with rape and abusive power dynamics in its core has such a high rating (since the story is practically non existent- or is just plain bad) and what it says about the readers and how they don’t care for good stories anyways, readers will say “you’d never know since you didn’t read it pee pee poo poo”. However if one does read it and then criticises the plot and romanticisation of rape, it’s the same old “BuT ThE WarNiNG11!” excuse. At least make up your mind how you want to so defend your precious rape stories and favourite rapist characters, like fix y’all’s narrative before contradicting each other so bad, Lmao great to see 2 examples of the same In The Same comment section, this is gold XD

“It’s Karen behaviour, you were warned”. Lmao, brain worms. Rape exists in the real world, and consequently in fiction too. It’s how it’s portrayed that most of us “complainers” talk about. That warning, and I cannot understand why it takes so much to get it through your thick skulls, means jack shit. Some of my favourite fiction, including works of Toni Morrison, include uncomfortable topics of CSA and Rape. They are Essential to her stories of poverty and inter generational trauma, but they’re treated with the respect they deserve. It’s not “brushed aside” as if rape is just no biggie and the plot doesn’t include a cute romance between the rapist and the victim. That’s what is called romanticisation of rape (and before you complain about how it not romanticisation, buy a dictionary you illiterate fucks). It’s romanticisation because their romance literally started with the Seme raping the Uke and the Uke being like whoops that’s a okay lemme feel jealous now. It’s like creating a Holocaust porn where the victims are shown to be a-okay about the torture and gassing being done to them, and then complaining when people point out how fucked up and disrespectful to Jews it is. No amount of “warning: depiction of Holocaust” indicates how it will romanticise the Holocaust and how disrespectful and disgusting it is anyways. None of us can come into your homes and shut off your computers and stop you from enjoying rape porn anyways, so if your enjoyment is so affected by mere critical comments in a free comments space... then for people who enjoy rape porn, y’all sure are snowflakes lol. Not all of us like to turn of our brains or morals while consuming media, and have criticism of said media based on that. “BuT JuSt A StOrY”, as if fiction is completely separate from real life and doesn’t affect people even in their subconscious. And no fiction is without criticism, if not anything else, one can very well criticise these stories for being pandering, badly written and very disrespectful to certain people. The same criticisms exist for Every sort of media (books, video games, movies), why should your precious yaoi be exempt from criticism?

Also, about Karen’s. Lol, Karen’s are not some apolitical entity that mildly pulls people out of their comfort zones by being critical of shit. Karens in mainstream understanding are entitled middle aged white women who target those weaker than them (esp the poor, african Americans, etc. in the US). If it’s anybody who’s the Karen, it’s fujoshis who shut up gay men on this site when they say that festishization of mlm relationships for straight women, and romanticisation of rape, etc. makes them uncomfortable simply because they feel they’re entitled to their gay rape porn at the expense of fetishisation of a sexual minority. Not to mention whenever push comes to shove, some of y’all actually start victim blaming the rape victim in these stories in order to justify your enjoyment of them. Here, the most Karen behaviour is actually by y’all fujoshis. Maybe if you actually thought beyond your genitals and got out of your pity party of being so oppressed because people said mean words on the internet about your favourite rape porn, you’d realise how out of the loop y’all sound.
And before you pull the “illegal website” argument card out of your ass, you are literally also on the same illegal website so get off your fucking high horse. Just like you have the right to be appreciative on the illegal site, others have the right to their views and criticisms on the same site. You posting “omg so cute” is not going to pay the authors bills so you’re literally no better than anyone else here. So either you stop reading on this illegal website or shut the fuuuuuuck up. Ciao xx (=・ω・=)

I'm a gay FtM man. I used to read more yaoi but lately I've been looking more into actually queer texts (written by queer people and/or actually accurate depictions of queer people). "Our Dreams at Dusk" by Yuhki Kamatani (an xgender person) is by far my favorite example.

Obviously you're not asking this because you are actively being transphobic, but also the whole idea of men acting like women to attack women is very much so a socially ingrained thought that your brain only noticed and only focused on because media wanted to portray trans people in a bad light. Its okay to have that thought if you've been attack......
