idk about y'all but Daniel & the fl does make a good pair since they're both 'originally' the final boss or like villains in the og story of the og fl & the og ml, so it would make sense for them to be paired
but I do agree that her attitude is becoming the original female lead lmaoo at this rate, she could replace the fl and no one would know because she acts the same way the og fl would
like a flower growing on top of her head, "I wanna be friends with you <3"
it just idk wasn't it for me either
but Daniel is hawt tho ;)) but I still miss black haired hottie, I was rooting for him :(((
I love this! our female lead is very powerful & headstrong <3 but the male leads really suck ass, they lack chemistry with the female lead.
Its just my little problem with this arising troupe of powerful female lead x another powerful male lead but most of them end up having forced romance / lack of chemistry
but it's not really too much of a bother since I get to see powerful women step on other insignificant trashes
The thing is, no one likes to have a damsel in distress with them all the time when they're witnessing another independent and strong woman. Her self-centered view if her own world as if the men by her side are just 'things' she refers as 'what belongs to her' is really baffling & it's sad really lmaoo
OK. So I wanted to see something different with this plot, like even if prim is not the female lead, even if she wasn't the one that gave colors to the ml, atleast the ml still feels content and love for the fl
and by content I mean like with his colorblindness, it gives u that punch of realness and at the same time wholesome feeling. But dang, this whole thing of him seeing colors thru prim is really cliché & I wished to see a story breaking a female lead stereotype. that u don't have to be a 'female lead' to make someone happy yk yk
sorry for the long rant but anyways I'm not hating on the story, just wished it could've went to a different route just to be different from other "I went into the world of this book or whatever- also I'm the author/reader" type troupe
Nope I lost some IQ reading this. There was so many things they could've done but it feels like the story is forcing them together. The events are so obvious. Like she already knows that after everything plays out he'll meet the girl and be happy. She doesn't need to fix his life, it'll fix itself along the way just the way she wrote her story. And also we have already gone past the women don't need a man to save them all the time phase but this is the same where a man needs a woman to be happy and fix all his problems. Like nooooo, this plot has been overused too much just put some difference and emotion into it.
no i agree its a very cliche plot. TBH the idea that an entire nation is terrified of a colorblind boy is already pretty stupid. Like being colorblind isnt some horrific curse its an actual medical condition that is not particularly serious. Most people who are color blind live perfectly happy and fulfilled lives. I get there is the whole prophesy thing but still... he can't tell blue and yellow apart whats the big scare here? hes just a kid what power does he have to destroy the nation???? Wouldn't it just be one guard to stab him with a sword and down he goes?
also i agree I feel like the trope where the woman has to "save" the ML with love is pretty lame and overdone. Like maybe instead of forcing him into a romantic relationship she could have taught him to love life or love a hobby and that newfound zest for life gives color to his grey world. I thought that since she was going to be his tutor she would you know teach him something about art or maybe writing. Something so he feels passion for the world again-instead she was his one sided love coach and guest for tea. It would have been a bit more impactful and nuanced for her to use her role to introduce him to other people and things then-oh its love. love solved the day. He got a boner for a girl so he can see colors again. wow. He is no different from when she met him. he's still a loner, still bitter and still hateful of the world but now he has a crush on a girl. narratively its just weak and unimpactful mcguffin to have love save the day.
Couldn't have said it better myself. That kind of plot sounds amazing, like directing the story to healing the characters themselves instead of egotisticaly making it all about them.
Another thing, these girls in Isekai need to be more self-aware and stop giving words or actions that can be misunderstood by the ML. If you are positive that you want him to get together with the supposed FL then make some distance and maintain boundaries.
The fact that they say stuff like I'll make sure to set you up together with the FL but then also say careless words that attract the ml is so hypocritical. And the guys are just pulled along by her half-baked attraction while the girl remains clueless because that's the only way the drama can go on and she can gather more guys indiscriminately.
I seriously just want a fully fleshed out story with realistic human behaviors, it might be fantasy but the more realistic it is the more I can empathize with the characters and situation. Not this I just the world I loved in for 20 years behind but oh well let's go save this prince and set him up with the girl when u already know that's gonna happen anyway without your interference.
honestly I had low expectations for this manhwa, I thought it would start like a toxic seme relationship troupe problem again in yaoi (which actually made me not want to read yaoi manhwas any longer) and I am so relieved to see this going on a different route.
Genuinely relieved and so happy.
but now I am filled with anticipation with the next chapters. I am rooting for their relationship but whatever happens, I feel like it would be justified. If for example, they both don't end up together, it would understandably so. Like if anyone was in the male lead's situation, they wouldn't want to stay with the same person who betrayed them not once but twice??? the male lead's kind of acting sketchy shahah I don't believe he would stay the same naive male lead or maybe there was something behind it all??
anyway very interesting! :))
