just read all of this in one sitting and lemme tell you.
it was so interesting up until like chapter 12/13. i was genuinely looking forward to seeing azusa's revenge, also i wanted to know wtf was gonna happen with that new creepy teacher that came to the school but I guess the author simply forgot about all that smfh. now we have one of the only few good and likeable characters blushing and being all uwu for his rapist and not thinking at all about revenge. not to mention how unsatisfying it is to watch him be jealous and chase karino, I would've even preferred it slightly more if it was the other way around (karino being jealous and maybe not treating azusa like absolute shit anymore). not once did i feel like "wow i want this main couple to be together!", i was literally thinking about how much i want azusa to like snap and kill karino or smth the whole damn time.
also at this point if your school is like that, maybe consider CHANGING SCHOOLS? lmao
anyways rant over goddamn that's the longest comment I've ever left on this site i think.

ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION
wtf was up with the fact that we were shown "uwu, karino's sad past and how he has to fake his emwotions owo" bro I'm NOT feeling bad for a rapist this reminds me of 13 reasons why and how the authors tried to make the rapist dude look like a misunderstood rebel like NAWWW LMAO THESE ARE STRAIGHT UP RAPISTS?

Exactly. And people say "it's pSyChOlOgIcAl so stfu", sis there is nothing psychological about the story, at this point it's the same recycled BL trope with predictable, illogical, full of plot holes writing. And the fact that Azusa is jealous and the whole revenge thread which was the only thing that kept me interested in this story...were just forgotten and swept under a rag like that... Is one,big disappointment.

the only thing i REALLY disliked about the story is the way the author kind of romanticized the mc's suicide. i understand WHY the mc did it, but the way the other dude (I'm really bad with names LMAO SORRY) literally walked in on him just as he failed his first attempt and the way it kinda boosted their romance just left a bad taste in my mouth. stuff like suicide and mental illnesses need to be portrayed VERY carefully in fiction, this is the reason why, for example, so many people hate 13 reasons why. because it was a bad portrayal of suicide and actually left a lot of people triggered (hate that word because of the right smfh) and messed up people's mental health way more than helped them. but that's just my opinion, i'm not a certified doctor or anything, just thought there was a better way to approach such a serious topic

BUT!! apart from that, i really loved this. definitely in my top favorite webtoons of all time. i give 5 stars only to my absolute favorite stories, and this one certainly deserved that, this was amazing. i get that a lot of people were mad at the black haired guy for hurting his boyfriend because of his insecurities, but i want to remind everyone that he loved his whole life pretty much abused by his father. i can definitely relate to his problems, while also seeing that he's wrong. i want to cheer him on, while i also don't. obviously he has trust issues and a lot of other issues, mainly be cause of his father and stepmother. i loved the way they both actually had realistic and relatable problems, the jealousy really felt realistic, unlike many other stories i've read. really such a beautiful and great story. can't even put in words hoe much i loved this story, will certainly be re-reading this one more times. thank you to the author for creating this masterpiece of a story.

perhaps in real life yes. but i'm talking about the story. hmmm it's hqrd to explain, since english is not my native language, but let's say, for example, some people write r*pe fics (which i do not like at all, but since it's fiction you can't really police it). it's specifically written to be a messed up story, not taking anyone's feelings in account. a story like this, with a plot and all (plus no trigger warnings or anything) has a different target audience. the weird fics have their target audience, while this has a wide audience of shounen ai enjoyers. does it make sense? i might make a better response later, since it's nearly 1 am and my brain is also shutting down :D

Good point. I didn't realize this until your comment, but when I was reading it, I felt like the author was not trying to romanticize suicide. I guess the scene where the half sister is actually the hero for the MC was not focused enough (this was my POV).
I see where you are coming from with your point. Completely valid point!
Sidenote, this manhwa definitely in my favorites (prob top 10-20 ish). I didn't have any high expectations before reading this manhwa tbh.
god i wanna beat the living shit out of hachidori, he's literally a rapist and manipulator. fuck him.
Thats the thing I hate this guys like he needs to be knocked out cold he’s just a bastard that will never change (/TДT)/
