I really have to say that while the Seme is personally off, this is to be expected from most straight guys starting to realize their sexuality isn't as they believe it is. And of course, when a guy suddenly tells you, another guy that they like you. The seme is a bit more toying with it, but it's a kind of denial where someone just tries to amuse themselves to ignore the reality of the situation or attempt to interpret it in another way. I don't think he deserves most of the backlash he gets, especially when it's only due to the fact he's not fawning over our MC like a dog in heat.
