The manhwas were interesting.
Given all the positive comments, I was expecting something fluffy and funny.
It was funny, but it didn’t meet my expectations at all, and honestly, I got bored and disappointed.
Overall, it had a concept that could’ve been really fun and engaging, but the story started off weak from the base. Because of that, both the writing and the plot left a lot of loopholes.
It felt like the author tried to squeeze in all the different ideas they had in mind, but most of them ended up feeling underdeveloped and incomplete.
The characters were likable, but I think a cute story with weak writing was ultimately wasted.

Every time I read it, I can feel each panel—like the blood rushing through my veins. The anxiety, the love, the hate, the longing—I experience all of it just as intensely as I did the first time.

I’m absolutely sure that, no matter how many years pass, I’ll never find another story that makes me feel this deeply.
I’m that kind of person who believes there are so many hidden gems out there—stories that are truly valuable but don’t get enough recognition. On the flip side, there are plenty of popular ones that just don’t live up to the hype.

But Painter of the Night It’s one of those famous stories that truly deserves all the love and attention it’s received—and honestly, even more than that.

What I like about this manhwa is that both MCs don't know how to communicate from the very beginning
Almost all of their interactions end up as misunderstandings
However, throughout the story they gradually learn how to communicate with each other
In the process of learning to communicate, they also get to know each other better and mature internally
I think it's really special and beautiful how it shows them learning to be honest with each other, understand themselves, and bring that honesty and understanding into their relationship


I see this as a commendable and valuable lesson

This was the cutest thing I could’ve read
Unlike most manhwas I’ve read where at some point the characters end up in a relationship, this story went in a very different direction
It showed a period of time where a couple breaks up and then eventually gets back together, and I think that made the story reallyyyyy unique
I’m not exactly sure what it is about this manhwa but it felt very different from most things I’ve read and I genuinely loved and enjoyed it
There wasn’t a single chapter where I felt like reading it was a waste of time
