I'm concerned about the MC and the father since like other comments state, they both say some questionable things, such as the dad saying she is really mature and her saying she doesn't want him to treat her like a kid. I feel like she will stay with her bf but she might break up with him for a short period to be with the father and later get back together.

K we get it. You don't have to complain about the same characters and say the same thing for every single chapter they're in. I'd like to see comments talking about something else every now and then.

Well...comments section is for comments. There are no rules what should we express here. I strongly believe in freedom of opinion (if it isn't hurting anybody).
While reading a book/manga i often think: "oh, i don't want the plot to goes this way". But that doesn't make me stop reading or author to change the plot. It's just wishful thinking

They can continue to read or not as they please but most comments literally do say something implying they want the author to change the plot. For example, many comments I see say something like "No body likes this couple, they should have less chapters" or "If it doesn't focus more on these characters, I'll drop this".
