I'm not sure, but I think it's something ike a follow up, where we are shown Miakasa`s ife (she got married, supposedly with Jean, had kids). Aong this we see Paradise evoving and becoming modern, then going thru war, and being destroyed in the end. I am not sure tho if the family shown is Mikasa`s, but it`s for sure that she died old.
