i wish writers would stop adding in girls like that. i know we’ll eventually like her later, but i hate when they add catty girls like this who get so mean and possessive over men

one of the things that puts this story above many others is the interesting way they layout the backgrounds. most others are so boring and bland and done with premade software, but this story has lots of really lovely eye catching elements within it since the very beginning

yea i can understand where she’s coming from but it’s a bit silly. she just doesn’t fully understand the dynamic between nobles and their servants. at the end of the day, he’s right. who cares. people will always talk, as long as you keep yourself upright and act accordingly there’s no reason to feel bad.

i spent this entire chapter stressed about the continuity of shampoo

why do they keep sleeping in completely buttoned up work clothes. they even put them back on after sex. this couple is too funny

why does every other chapter bring up the same conflict and resolution but just in different flavours.

it is annoying but i don’t hate duroa too much. i think a lot of her feelings are valid, he did treat her like absolute shit growing up, even though he didn’t want to. She doesn’t know that, all she knows is her own experiences, which were undoubtedly not good. i think he definitely has some work to do bc he clearly still hasn’t gotten a good understanding on how to treat and communicate with other people.

i’m not used to reading hopeful speeches like that. nowadays stories only use them for stupid naive characters so the reader can critique them. i was expecting him to make fun of her

i really do like this story. it’s exciting and interesting and cool. i just wish they would stop doing that to the feminine characters
