yeah her reasons are really shallow. i would have understood her if she's anxious or extremely shy and wanted to get over it but she's just a selfish brat who finds satisfaction in victimizing herself

uhm I dont want to start an argument or anything bad but i just think that that's what the author wanted to happen.... she took that break because she was feeling frustrated and confused... she had to realize that she was being selfish and stupid... and the guy kinda helped her in finding that out.... at the end, didn't she apologize about it? she was finally aware that what she did was very selfish and she didn't think of the others.... but the break she took helped her sort her thoughts and feelings out so i guess it was a good development for her character...

Yea Her reasoning and actions are so irrational and stupid. If I met someone like this, I would not be able to stand them. Imagine yourself as the other council member getting other work pushed onto you because someone decided to sign up and dip for two weeks without any valid reason besides “this isn’t even the school I wanted to go to so I’m not gonna go”. I would be so mad and insulted. Moreover, I feel like she didn’t even try to tell them her reasoning and just skipped which makes it even worse. If a bitch did this to me she’s not gonna get away with it. This is basically equivalent to being the useless group member who made everyone else do your part.

That’s not the fucking point it’s her throwing away her responsibilities that she fucking signed up for. If she was already depressed then why sign up for the council if you know you’re just gonna be bummed out the whole time.

And nobodies making fun of her we’re just calling out her actions as any friend would do if their friend were making some pretty bad decisions. I don’t baby my friends. Of course I support them but I tell them the truth and reality. I’ve had friends who dealt with serious problems throughout their life due to school stress. I give them the support they need along with advice. In the case of the protagonist she was running away from her problems which in turn puts some consequences that her classmates have to deal with. If she doesn’t want to be at the school so much then don’t sign up for the student council and just go missing for two weeks.

False. He's done several things wrong. He's constantly jerking shu's feelings around and doesn't take his concerns seriously. I can literally line up for you what he's done wrong.
1) A job is a job, he should've felt off about the freelance offer because at that point Ryujin hadn't seen any of his work. He quite understood that he was being offered the job just because of how he was related to Shu but accepted anyway.
2) At that point where he was offered to be a "housewife" and literally take care of the dude's house, child, and self. Totally inappropriate. It's like he became his wife and it was "totally acceptable" because hey, tripled salary. Him also charging for the sexual harassment was "ok" because he was getting paid.
3) Esp knowing how your partner feels about this guy and how constantly he makes his motives to steal you away very clear yet you continue to undermine his concerns at every turn. Fuck yeah I'd be pissed if he knew about some moles on my mans ass that no one is supposed to know about. But before all of this everytime Shizuka was with Shu he'd compliment the dude like ?!? It broke the camels back. I'd have been just as mad.

1) Please, do you know Japan? Nepotism is RAMPANT, if you want to blame anything blame the culture.
2) The sexual harassment you claim was really so good natured as to be inconsequential. Ryujin literally never made an honest move on Shizuka. What's your problem? You just said a job is a job? Shizuka was making money working as a NANNY, the job title for the kind of job he was working. Not to mention, he saw Tara's household and initially offered to help clean up and cook them a meal. Tora is his child's friend, his father just happens to be attracted to him. Why not take this job that makes a ton of money AND helps out his son to not feel lonely and his son's friend to have a less chaotic home life?
3) Shu's concerned sure, but Shizuka never gave him reason to be? Talking about another man? So what? He praised the fact that Ryujin is a good father despite his personality, and good at his job. Shu doesn't own Shizuka's tongue or thoughts, he's free to think ill or well of whoever he wants. NOT TO MENTION, Shu never once asked Shizuka HOW Ryujin might know about those moles. It's not Shizuka's fault that he know about them; Tora told his father after seeing it during a totally innocent bath? So what, now Shizuka can't bathe with the kids because SOMETHING might happen? Might as well chain him into the house because his only use will be as She's housewife and sex toy.

If you'll get mad about stuff like that, don't ever get into a relationship because you are controlling as hell.

A) It wasn't about the way he was hired but the nature of it. You KNOW that this person's only purpose in hiring you is to piss off your significant other and you ACCEPT ? You clearly don't respect this person.
B)Bruv, there's no such thing as good natured sexual harassment. Are you ok ? Or do you not understand how consent and unwarrented attention works. It was either ok with Shizuka or not. And if it was ok with him he's a shitty person. In this instance he didn't address it which is neither here nor there. Still shitty though. ESPECIALLY after your partner voiced his/her uncomfortable position with the arrangement. Whether this makes the party petty or not HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT'S INSENSITIVITY. Take this job? Talk about mixing business with your private life. How messy. He already worked for him why take it a step further ans be his nanny too. Shu is filthy rich and Shizuka is not in a bad place with money. If was really about the kids instead, there was nothing wrong with the arrangement but why did it include spending most of his time in this dude's house. Tora could've easily stayed over there or had a rotation system of houses in place. Spending legit ALL of his time over there and neglecting his partner was WRONG. Why are you bent on justifying his shitty personality.
C) AND NEVER GAVE HIM A REASON TO BE??? DID YOU MISS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE STORY? DID YOU READ WHAT I READ? Ol' boy is as fickle as a cat. Shizuka has made a point of not disclosing his feelings and purposefully plays with Shu. He's made several points of that actually. If there literally hasn't been any form of trust or building it between them at ALL you really believe it's Shu's inclination to not think the worst of the situation ? Shizuka never gives him real reason to trust him...But I bet you'll argue otherwise. If there's a marking in an INTIMATE place disclosed to me by someone who's mission it is to bed my partner + knowing his fickle nature I'd be pissed too. I would've followed with questions first but that's not to say Shu has no right to be upset. That's just my temperment but clearly Shu's is different. And yes, because it makes wonderful sense to not spend any time with your partner but when you do, don't forget to compliment and talk all about the person they hate. 10/10 best thing to do. You'll earn partner of the year. And if you couldn't tell I was using sarcasm, here's your nod idiot. Use your head. Wrong time, not saying he couldn't say these things, just ever so obviously not the place for it.
And trust me, shu wouldn't be so crazed about tying down Shizuka if he wasn't such a constant mind fuck. I'm sure shu would be ever so supportive about his career if Shizuka ever talked to him about ANYTHING.
Lastly.
Don't ever try to come for me because you. dont. know. me.
I'm controlling as hell ? NO it's called having respect for my partner and having BASIC relationship boundaries which you clearly lack. I feel sorry for the poor bastards that you date though, you must be a raging bitch all the time.
