This is really well made and very interesting. Despite the rape, abuse, confinement, mental manipulation and all the bad things , the plot, theme and message is very well delivered from the words and drawings.
I'm not saying I like this kinda thing but the way the story flow , it was good.
And did anyone notice the panel after the guy was held by his friend asking who did that to him and he said he don't remember , yeah after that panel there was a chain that was almost being broken to two. And I think that time if he just told them what really happen I think he would have been really free from the shackles.

I’ve read the novel and I also typically hate romance and prefer the MC to become op without distractions but Irene is an exception. So don’t worry he will become EXTREMELY op and even his personality will become much better and part of the reason is because of Irene if I remember correctly. He might seem annoying right now but he actually loves her very VERY much but not to an annoying degree. I actually like their relationship
