Ah, the better pairing. I prefer the friend over the “kiddo.” The melodrama is killing me, though. It’s kind of cringe.
New chapter came out, and it went from bad to worse. I’m stressed. This is why I don’t follow weekly releases. I need to wait and just binge it.
Spoiler
Since Brandon found out about Matthew, I’m guessing he’ll use that to blackmail Jin back to his side. That’s going to be annoying. If that somehow leads to them fucking again, I’m going to be pissed.
Shitty seme, sweet innocent uke, redemption, forgiveness. Rinse and repeat.
Heesung should’ve ripped that blindfold off Dan to let him see what was being done to him. Not that it would’ve mattered in the long run, but still.
Honestly, after reading the official translations, I think he really is dead dead. The unofficials left room open to hope because of some of the wording, but the officials make his death seem real and final. Next week will be interesting, I guess.
I hate that Brandon is so fine. That damn bastard.
I don’t like when main characters are hooked on drugs. It’s the one thing I didn’t like about Jin’s character, and now we have to watch Matthew become addicted. Blah. I’m not looking forward to it.
HUGE JUJUTSU KAISEN SPOILER BELOW IN THE COMMENTS, SO BE CAREFUL READING! About 6 comments below mine.
Spoilers….
I feel like he wouldn’t die before facing Kenjaku. That’s his main foe, not Sukuna. Sukuna vs Gojo just gave us the battle of the strongest, but I don’t think it’s his final fight. I think Gege just wanted him out the game for a bit so that the MC and other characters could shine. Plus, he mentioned his dad and Shoko in his talk with Geto. That has to mean something. I think he’ll be healed or reincarnated in some way. Plus, Megumi. I think he’ll live to see him at least one more time.
Damn, I hope someone uploads the rest. I need this type of wholesomeness in my life.
I haven’t read this yet, but from the concept and plot, I feel like it would make a good anime. This is the type of thing I’d be interested in watching.
SPOILER…
Is it true that the alpha and omega keep the cheating from the beta even after the baby is born? Like, he sees his new baby brother and still doesn’t know that it’s his boyfriend’s child??? That happens in the novel?
Spoilers got me concerned. It’s going to be a long road to happiness, I guess. Poor Matthew.
The character design alone is extremely racist, so that should’ve clued y’all in, tbh.
I like how it’s implied that the uke’s been sucking and fucking down (not with a horde of people, but yeah). Throat GOAT and a well-used ass. It’s funny because it doesn’t really fit his personality. lol
I wish we could’ve seen more of the uke’s ex. He was such a cutie. I want to read his story.
Also, loved old gays in the bar. Love watching old gays advise baby gays. So cute.
Whenever I reread this, I always find it crazy how the uke’s parents didn’t show back up in the story. Like, you’re kid tried to kill himself. Where are the therapists? His grades have dropped drastically. Where are the professional tutors?
I also found it weird that the uke didn’t try to get his new body in shape. He was a boxer, so he was into fitness. People like that tend to hate being out of shape. I was hoping to see him at least attempt to work out, build some stamina, maybe hit up a boxing gym, etc. Missed opportunity, tbh.
This won’t have a happy ending. It’ll definitely be bittersweet with one or both of them dying.
Just saw a picture of Glasses on twitter and came straight here, but it’s a damn love triangle (square?), and he isn’t the main ML. -_- Maybe he’ll become the alpha in a second relationship because he’s too fine to waste.
