
I don’t have sympathy for anyone involved. The ML is a psychotic serial killer, the MC is a stupid, weak enabler, and the director should’ve walked away when he saw the extent of their fucked up relationship. I don’t see anything about the MC that would be worth putting up with whatever bullshit he has going on with his “brother.”

The part in chapter 12 when the MC notices the scent of blood on the ML was so much more serious in the novel. I love how fluffy this is, but they don’t have to tone down the seriousness of everything, imo. The novel is fluffy enough, tbh. Makes me wonder how they’re going to handle a few other things, like the ML’s past.
This has a novel with at least 4 volumes.
