I read MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY by this author first so I had high hopes for this manhwa and do I gotta say.
This was a fücking rollercoaster.
The beginning, I’m talking basically chapters 10 to 45 are gonna have you wanted to ring the ML’s neck. Not that you’d win against him anyways. And the MC isn’t safe either because, whoooo, this man has patience and trust- I could NEVER. But when I say “let ‘em cook” I MEAN LET THEM COOK!
Although not perfect, the misunderstandings are ALL cleared up before the end of the story and you truly get to see the ML’s love for the MC. Unconditionally. The art gets so beautiful, the come up is INSANE.
Now don’t get me started on the m-preg jump scare. I’ll be honest. It was a little weird. But, I dig Omegaverses (I’m SO sad “Low Tide in Twilight” is finished
Ignoring the family that relied too heavily on Haruto, or the fact that Haruto is jobless (like, as an adult, I couldn’t imagine going straight jobless, like, at least have a small job, td????), Asahi makes me UNCOMFORTABLE. Like. I’m fine with incest. I’m fine with obsession. But Asahi is straight creepy. Like. He’s the obsession with none of the affection. And he’s also just an awful written character. Haruto ain’t no saint, because, like. Get a job, but Asahi clearly has a few screws loose and not in the hot way a crazy top should be. I’m gonna stay here because I REALLY wanna know wtf happens, but I ain’t rooting for Asahi. I ain’t rooting for Haruto. I ain’t rooting for nobody but Miki-chan, because she’s so damn cute,

Did you miss the part where he's burnt out and probably depressed and suffering from anxiety? Do you really think someone who barely has the will to live is gonna have the will to work? The way he sacrificed his youth to support his family and now that he doesn't have to feels lost and without a purpose? This was a LITERAL masterpiece. Every chapter was so ADORABLE and the ending made my heart melt! No drama, no misunderstanding, no non-con, and most of all YAOI WITH REALLY GOOD COMEDY! If you are thinking of reading this, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ IT ASAP! A straight ♾/10, no flaws, and god I love Naoki so damn much. The uke we all have been waiting for!!
Yeah. I’ve had enough. I could care less about the side couple, ESPECIALLY when they are getting squished between heavy plot that STILL HASN’T BEEN SOLVED with our main couple. And god I hate Jiho. Inwoo deserves 1000x better. And the side couple is so annoying. I don’t really care for the manager, and the ex is a douchebag who deserves to be out of the story. I just needed to rant. Feel free to ignore me. I shall leave now, though I’m sad to go since this had such a good start. *sigh* Can’t be helped.

A straight 10/10, I’m only a little salty there were no R18 scenes, but the fluff was real. Had to reread immediately and you see Yuki in almost every school scene! He’s always been watching our baby Mizuki!! I wish we got a second volume with more content of them dating!! A MUST read!
I seen this got a second volume and I was SO excited…. Just for it to be about a couple involving the incubus and not our main couple… like, man….. upload them separately because this ain’t a real second volume, this is a separate story even if the MC from the first shows up a few times. Man, I HATE side couples being shoe-horned in. I’m so sad… this was one of my favs….

Jun was such a cutie and when he came to the island it wasn’t like he was a spoiled rich kid, which pissed me off when Natsumi called him one. Jun IS an accomplished, over worked, businessman who was legit forced somewhere unknown and lost all his belongings. It made me upset that he was forced to work and Natsumi was such an asshole to him. The worst part is Jun was relatively capable of everything when it came to cleaning and such (minus the one scene where we see he isn’t a good cook). Like. I’m sorry. Natsumi going from the tsundare jerk to the cute lover was NOT fulfilling to me at all. Jun deserved MUCH better.
Also, all the people saying others didn’t like it because there was no rape need to simmer down. I ADORE fluffy stories and hate rape heavy stuff. This story just had an awful love interest. Which was disappointing too, since the art and Jun were literally perfect.
That the background SA didn’t even phase me. Like. This is just modern yaoi logic and I can’t even be upset about it anymore. At least their son SAed someone who actually knew them and kinda liked them. Still more morals than fûcking Dark Fall. It was a cute read at the end. BUT TF YOU MEAN “To Be Continued”?!
