After reading the official translations, I still don't get how the uke was able to conceive the baby in the first place. It was never mentioned in the S1 chapters. It's confusing why the seme did not know what does the surrogate look like and was only able to, during their first encounter at kitchen that night. Could it be through artificial insemination? But this is omegaverse so it doesn't make sense to me. Can someone help me understand? Thanks in advance :)
I agree it’d be less confusing if they clarified it in the beginning but I imagine that since it was only to carry the baby and seemed planned by the dad, that most likely they did artificial insemination like they would for real surrogacy
yeah it must have been the traditional surrogacy type because if otherwise (gestational surrogacy) then where is Beom's partner? I thought at first he has a partner that's why the President (Beom's dad) finds a surrogate. Well this plot hole does not take me away from this work anyway because I love where it is going (been reading raws oh I love Seonwoo's preggy belly!)

I thought it was pretty clear that they did it via artificial insemination? It seems like Beom had no interest in marriage so this was the only way to get him to produce an heir. The Chairman clearly prefers Beom and wanted him to have a child over the other two brothers.
yeah but it was just a tiny panel of Seonwoo and Beom's dad in what seems an office, with papers on a table. there's no even monologue about how Seonwoo met Beom's dad, how was he chosen out of all other omega workers in Noblesse, etc. so it was confusing at the beginning. jumping straight ahead to moving in, we don't even know how many weeks along was Seonwoo when he moved in the mansion. also, this story reminds me of a certain historical royalty kdrama (or kmovie?) that I watched before, wherein the queen is barren, so they got a surrogate to help produce an heir. in that process of surrogacy, the king had a number of intercourse with the surrogate, until the surrogate is confirmed pregnant with the king's child. so even though this one's in modern setting, artificial insemination was the last thing I could think of especially it's omegaverse (been used to omegas getting pregnant when knotted, during heat, etc.)
I guess I didn’t find the individual details of it to be super important. Like I can guess that the Dad met Seonu at Noblesse. He seemed like a top prostitute with good looks and demeanor. My point is that these are things you can infer so it doesn’t need to be super flushed out? That’s just my opinion of course though so I’m not saying you’re wrong for wanting more build up at the start of the story.

I just started reading this manhwa today and I was hesitant at first because it's my first time reading about a single father (with a baby), not omegaverse nor fantasy nor historical (my favorite genres) but I was hooked up by the storyline and the humor and everything, man. The slow burn is so delicious it had me like, "god, yes! it's their third kiss!" and "it really took 22 chapters before they fuck but I'm not complaining a bit because I love how things are going" okay my heart is full I hope the author is staying happy and healthy!!!
