if they're catching up fast with fan translations bcs they are aware that a scan group dropped it at Ch 20 (we won't know, what are the odds, but I have a feeling that's the reason why in LZ app it says "NEW Every Weekday Until Episode 20" lol) but butchering up their work in return, it's really disappointing, esp as a dedicated reader myself. I appreciate their efforts to stay up to date, but the quality should still be a priority, given that they are paid to work on this (anyone can look up how much salary you earn working in LZ). Hopefully, the team can find a balance between speed and quality soon.
Yeah, I've been noticing a LOT of errors in "official" translations lately.
There was one series I was binge reading where almost the entire chapter was illegible and I had to double make sure whether it was actually an official translation or not.
Couple that with how some distributors have been cutting the "chapters" shorter and shorter to make more money off readers and I almost no longer feel bad for pirating shit.
Sigh, I prefer VVS fan translations over the official ones. For instance, in the 2nd to the last bubble:
"Then feel free to get rid of me" > "Please feel free to remove me"
To the officials: Remove him from what? A list? He's referring to his presence/existence in its entirety (bcs in the raws, the literal translation is: "clean me up". not in the sense of removing dirt, but removing traces of him). So it just doesn't feel right ╥﹏╥
I think, to maintain the 'historical/old-fashioned ambiance', aside from VVS ver, another way to say this is: "I wish to be dismissed/expelled/exiled." However, this sentence eliminates the weight of Myungha's words in subtly suggesting he's okay with being killed. It's also awkward to typeset this sentence, so considering the shaping, it could be:
"Then | please remove | any traces | of me."
Character counts per line, incl spaces that determine the width, will be: 4, 13, 10, 5
in contrast with the officials: 6+1 (ellipsis/3 dots counts as 1 character), 12, 9
and the VVS ver (I love your work guys): 4, 9, 10, 5

I’ve seen many official translations butcher the translations or not do justice to the original wordings. Oftentimes they westernize the translations, other times, they input contemporary wordings into historical settings, etc. Sigh. Translation can turn likable character into unlikable ones coz different wordings turn characters to exude different personalities, vibe.
I read this one manhwa where in fan translation he seemed reasonable, dialogues were translated good, characters cussing was sophisticated giving noble vibe, but in official translation his dialogues’ tones turned into modern spoiled brat cussing in filthy manner, and became unlikable.
And my heart hurts when such thing happens. Beautiful bl novels have been ruined in such a way too.

I'm sooo glad we made it before 2024 ends (at least in my time zone). Y'all don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but we really did our best to push this chapter out despite the holiday rush, ensuring it's as readable and comprehensible as possible. Since it is still not officially licensed and there are no scan groups picking this one up, our lovely solo KTL, Vin, took the initiative to translate it. The primary goal was to translate it into English for foreign readers to enjoy the story, without much thought on cleaning the watermarks and sfx as it is just too time-consuming. Jazz and I are still doing our best to improve as PRs for Vin, so I hope you'll see some improvements from previous chapters as we continue working on this story.

For S2, I'm thinking that Taesun's belly wouldn't bulge that much bcs the baby snakes will likely be born in egg form since they are reptiles after all. Google says snake eggs are a maximum of 5 inches in size. And two eggs in the same batch/litter is not that much. Unless the author doesn't go the oviposition route and prefers the human way of birthing, idk anymore. Also, didn't the sunbae and Geumryang meet yet? I wonder how Taesun will introduce Geumryang to him the moment they meet.
Even with the human way of birthing the author can realistically avoid the pregnant belly to show by simply just having the babies be born in snake form. Daddy snake was originally tiny in snake form too before molting, so it's easily possible for the snake forms of the twins to be super tiny when they're born
