i've been a little annoyed with daniel lately. mildred has made it very clear that her priority in life is raising her children and giving them a good life and he seems to me like one of those romantic interests that only cares about the woman he loves and nothing more. i would prefer that he made more of an effort to bond with the girls. so far he provides for them financially but that’s not enough to me!!! i feel like mildred would be so smitten if she saw that he wants to build a family with her that he wants to be a stepfather. like why she can truly love and accept Ashley (her name being a reference to cinderella, cinder-ash, Ashley is just such a cute detail) as her child but he, even if he loves mildred, just seems not to gaf about the girls. even with the whole promoting iris as a princess candidate he seems to feel a bit indifferent towards the daughters and just does things with them to please mildred…. i really hope they bond more and become an actual family with daniel and mildred both as parental figures. what do you guys think?
side note i also really miss the princess competition arc i wanna see iris be competitive and brilliant<33
