That's not the point, even if there's not much she can do she is still complicit. The truth is inaction is never neutral, inaction validate any action committed by others. It's not the same intentions but it's the same result as agreeing.

She is still preparing him for a rape ceremony and hoping he suffer madness for the rest of his life. She can go burn in hell, if feeling sorry was enough to erase the pain we inflict on others then we wouldn't need justice.

If she truly wish things were different then she'd do something, anything, to make things different.

Idk I think inaction out of helplessness isn’t the same as agreeing. She’s old as fuck there is no way she can help him escape a pack of male wolves 20 times stronger than her. Realistically if she tries anything, she would just get replaced by someone who couldn’t give two shits about him AND he would still get raped. Sometimes no matter how desperately you want to help someone, you just don’t have enough power to do anything.

Oh babe you get it they literally killed and hunted for this man and have abilities the leader his brother can control time killed and imprisoned his on family anything she does will end in her death or her family/ loved ones and more trauma on mc all she can do is love and support him it’s literally a cult with supernatural beings and abilities one can only do so much
