Lol so many people are confused
To my understanding, the reason why the awakened powers are a bad thing is because it means that the greater evil i coming ( the thing MC has been bring up since the beginning). And because ML has the powers it means he needs fight in the front line as MC had written in her novel. ML is crying because it means they have less time together right after the engagement. Everyone at the party is happy because with the awakens powers it almost guarantees their safety.
