Put it this way, would u rather have someone thirsting over a fictional character, or a real person?I'd rather prefer the first. Cuz fiction is fiction, it dun matter, no harm done there. SweetOnion
Fiction is not harmless when it reinforces dangerous desires or normalizes harmful behavior—especially when it involves minors. If someone 'thirsts' over fictional minors, it doesn’t magically make that impulse safe. It shows they're attracted to the idea of minors, which is deeply disturbing and still dangerous. Fiction doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it reflects and influences real attitudes. Put it this way, it's like an extension of you. Using "fiction" as an excuse doesn't make things right. We don’t excuse racism, abuse, or glorifying violence in fiction just because it’s not real. Why should this be any different?

Bruh what, it's literally just fiction. Just because I find one character pretty or good looking in a manga doesn't mean I go around looking for similar looking children irl, that would just be weird. Some people can actually separate fiction from reality, if u didn't know. It's the same as reading violent or toxic genres, just because I enjoy reading them doesn't mean I'm going to do the same thing to those around me. It's purely fictional, maybe stop focusing too hard on "what could be" instead of what is. (︶︿︶)
I'm re reading and why is the translator thirsting for a 16yr old second ml
Like I hope their at least also a minor if they're calling a child hot
It's a fictional character, stop being sensitive lololol
ig by that logic thirsting for children are okay as long as they're fictional
