I enjoyed this chapter because I’m patient and see the little changes JK is going through. Mingwa isn’t writing for people who only have Bluey levels of media comprehension. This is a story for adults. Of course you won’t enjoy it if you’re a child with zero experience in delayed gratification. And yes, you can have the brain of a child and be 18+. We were given such beautiful moments in the first part, it’s time for the angst! I wouldn’t mind rough, bloody sex just to get the tension out. I do kinda wish Yeonjo would escape, but choose to come back to warn Hee Ryang about some plan he over hears while escaped. He may ‘hate’ Hee Ryang, but if Yeonjo can’t kill him, he doesn’t want anyone else to get the privilege to do so. That’s just my daydreaming thoughts, though.

It's a very small step but it's progress. He's also making up a lot of excuses to himself to justify his actions towards Dan, there's a big wall of denial.
Jk is lying to himself. He says he’s doing all of these things for himself because he isn’t ready to admit he’s fallen for Dan. I feel like this is obvious. We, the audience, can see all the signs, but Jk can’t because falling in love is scary. Especially when he has such a high profile career. A scandal can ruin everything he’s built. Jk doesn’t want to be in love because he isn’t ready to have something more important than his career, but it’s happening and he can’t stop it. Feelings are messy, so don’t expect the redemption to be clean.

I know I can’t talk for everyone in here, but coming to read every update, is like getting back with your ex, or committing any self destructive behavior. Most of us are literally just waiting for 2 things:
1.- Redemption arc in which Jaekyung hopefully suffers a shit ton
2.- See how this ends
Sure he’s hot and has a huge dick but that’s pretty much it. Him being an insufferable selfish asshole outshines both of those qualities.
So yeah, it is possible to absolutely hate a character (even if it’s the main lead) and still keep on reading.

JK is angry with himself. He knows Dan enriched his life and he doesn’t want to admit he was wrong. Now his fight is internal. He has lots of experience fighting externally, but not much with internal struggle. Ultimately the alcohol and inability to train is setting Dan up to have an uphill struggle when he does come back. JK is ruining himself and if Dan does fix him and he wins another fight it will all be because of Dan’s efforts, not JK’s. Can’t wait for the reunion!!!
