I think Hereis did trick Lord Akan and was in kahoots with those bandits, but not because of sex, that was just what he used to lure him under the guise that he had been drugged. Remember that even with his beauty, he had been previously rejected by the dragon. I think the whole thing it's all because of the treasure that Akan posseses, because "dragons are greedy". Hereis used to be a "beggar" when he was a kid and looked at how other people were treated differently because they were rich (status/class, etc).
