Sangwoo taking Bum on holiday wasn't violent, but it would be misguided to call codependency and an a relationship that concerns potentially two men with personality disorders such a term right now, given their behaviour. Sangwoo brought Bum a present, it was his uncle that he thought he might want to kill... how "lovey dovey". Sangwoo ended up having a hallucination about his dead mum killing him and went to the mountain where apparently his dad is buried to scream and destroy the car that they he inherited by them, he somehow managed to buy a new car (is he in debt?) "how lovey dovey"? If it was a romantic drama, than it would have shown Sangwoo, yes try to give him new experiences like skiing and the arcade, and 'overwrite" the bad ones with his uncle like the first alcohol, but it wouldn't have ended with him presenting his actual uncle as a treat for him to kill and end his trauma. Sangwoo knows that killing your abuser doesn't stop you from 'seeing" or "hearing" them via hallucinations, it also hasn't stopped him from both loving but being scared of, and resenting his mother.

that was koogi’s very s u b t l e symbolism for the hate of your typical toyota camry 2003 make, and you see the vehicle the ambulance used when hauling off the lady sangwoo almost killed? that was symbolism for capitalists on the horizon of world domination, as in a few scenes later, it is shown that the car sangwoo destroyed, the Toyota camry symbol, is taken down by sangwoo, the communist and driver the communism. what this is conveying is that sangwoo, the communist driving communist symbol Toyota Camry, was its own downfall— so in short, koogi hates communists
