so, i found out about major kwak's past; his parents used to be a researchers, had a younger brother and a sister (not sure whether he has a brother and a sister or two brothers), and they eventually became an adam, major kwak was the one who killed them. after the incident there's a man look for him, when he found out about major kwak's parents, he took him to the rainbow city for major kwak to become a soldier, but then the man was shot to death. they took major kwak in, and later he killed the soldier who killed the man (who look after him), more like he tortured to soldier.
I just really want to point out how good the portrayal of Yoon Jay's character is. Since mostly we read manhwas wherein the seme is overpowered and usually are unaffected by any shortcomings their way, invincible, the word is. Yoon Jay on the other hand he can get tried—for real. Typically some have other people to do their own job, bossing around. Jay on the other hand is meticulous, he does his work diligently, he don't look down on his opponents and see them as on equal footing. What I want to say is he fully deserved his position as an executive director; his hard work is corresponding with his position, vice versa. Jay and Yoohan really compliment each other, I don't make rules.
it's been years and i have no idea how many time i've reread king's maker already but, here i go again. can't get enough of the plot—the love at first sight and the 'they don't know about us by one direction' plot. kidding, i love everything that there is to it on this manhwa—enough now, really need some help rn ༎‿༎
