Here, I'll start:
The hostility between the Americans and the Japanese actors makes logical sense within the narrative, but it still comes off as kinda goofy from an outsider's perspective. It's also dragging a bit, considering we all knoe how it's gonna end. The Japanese actors are gonna show their skills, and the Americans will gain a grudging respect for them/realise that they were being excessively prejudiced.

Irl, from what I've seen at least, Japanese acting does come off as a bit corny to me. Like, you get real "I'm acting right now" vibes from the characters, and it's hard to get immersed. I'd love some recommendations if you think I'm completely wrong, I'd love to have my mind changed about this and see some convincing Japanese acting!

Can anyone explain to me what happened to her jackpot winnings? She didn't gamble them away, and she didn't fall for his tricks, so why hasn't she repaid her debt fully and barely has any money again?
Did she lose it all during the card games after all? Because the dialogue made it seem like she only gambled what she could afford, aka less than what she needs to repay her debt.
