Comments were misleading (to me!), this was pretty boring. Not something I'd reread.
Like yeah it's cute and fluffy, and sometimes that's all you need, but this was such a nothingburger of a story.
It's people who are awkward about loving each other having sex for 5 chapters.
The summary calls it a mature love story, but it's actually very juvenile. Would've been a bit more endearing had they been teenagers imo
Maybe this kind of light-hearted, surface-level story would've landed better if the art was more appealing, idk

The age difference isn't even the worst thing about it, I've read college student × high school student before, it CAN be done well...but.
I just don't fw the "a child's undying love" trope. I just hate the way some child will fall in love in a single moment like some shounen protag's love interest and then basically just decide to be in love forever with the idea of a person they created in their head. And I'm supposed to find that super romantic and cute, instead of persistent and off-putting

That misunderstanding didn't feel tragic, just stupid. It just didn't hit
Wdym "I didn't want to make you unhappy" you literally made him miserable by not explaining anything.
This really needed Hayato reacting to Touma's death and crying tears of blood, like I needed to see that with my own eyes, him realising that he fucked up

I went into this expecting to be mildly disappointed by the lack of romance, but it was actually super fun to read!
I didn't mind that there wasn't a love story at all, surprisingly.
Maybe it's just nice reading slice of life with someone who's for sure gay, and not just someone you speculate about.
He's gay and it doesn't matter, it's just life.

The fact that she's STILL treating him like a fictional character is starting to piss me off...
Girl...he's literally right in front of you, you can touch him, he has real feelings, wtf is wrong with you

It makes sense
Spoiler
In the novel she doesn't want Kylo to love her, she wants him to become confident and like her but not love her cause in the original he was going to die but she wants to sacrifice her life so that he doesn't have to. She has a pendant already that closes the crack/void and someone powerful needs to sacrifice their life to close it so the world won't be destroyed. So as frustrating as it is, she only wants good for him but to not love her, in the novel it's totally more obvious here they are changing some shit idk why I guess for drama welp
It's kinda frustrating that his life gets better by having magic now. Kinda makes it seem like it was right for him to be miserable
I hope this story addresses this issue by showing people with no magic being brilliant in their own way
Agreed.
Personally it’s also frustrating to see that basically a completely different person had to take over this life so that everything will be well, than that the original one somehow reviving and changing through experience or something… with the appearance of MC, the original one seemed to have disappeared?
