I don't like solutions like this. Someone is an asshole? Let's make him a sad story, justify his actions with childhood trauma.
Being a dick is being a dick, it doesn't change anything.
I may feel sorry for him, but I am fed up with such cheap solutions.
However, I still like this story and wanna see the end.
