I get you, but it's mostly women hating on the female characters, and for good reasons, too. Although there's been a huge deviation lately(yay), it's still common for female charas to be written in terms of their male counterparts.
Females are often created with 'love interest' as their primary purpose, then 'strong' or 'ally' as their secondary.......
