1. He did clearly tell the uke he’s feeling weak, uke passed it as a joke. Maybe he didnt want to worry uke; or maybe he just didnt think it was serious at first

Although I agree with you that He is trying but all in all the young man is currently Lacking. Can't blame him he's young. He was so carefree but started working diligently recently cause he wants to get the approval of his love. He's lucky he managed to have a mature and secure man like the uke.
Well of course seme is lacking, but so is everybody out there. Nobody is perfect, not even the uke is perfect, yet nobody is pointing at uke for being “lacking”. The thing about being in a relationship is accepting each other flaws so they can grow together. Uke obviously knew seme has flaws, yet he accepted him bc he loves him. And so its the other way around for the seme too. Cant expect everybody to be rounded, thats not how reality works.
Also age has nothing to do with experience. Agree seme is more childish, but i say its more a personality thing. In term of experience, he was also scarred by his previous relationship too, but do you see him being all insecure with his new one?
Wasn't he? I mean the uke pointed out his insecurities. He was not even planning on telling the uke about it had he only noticed or asked. I really wish it's the two of them that grows not one nurturing the other one.

I assume that ur taking abt before when seme was jealous w ukes ex. It thats what you mean, then i think the reason why seme chose to not tell uke is because he wanted to trust his partner. Of course deep down he’s still felt insecure, but part of his consciousness wanted to trust uke, therefore he didnt say anything
If ur talking abt seme feeling insecure because of ukes family, then of course seme wouldnt want to tell uke, i would say bc of his pride. Its not easy for one to face their own insecurity, let alone telling/ letting others know about it. Also, maybe seme just wants to work hard and tell uke later as a surprise. Some people dont like telling others about their plan/ vision until its finished. I’m this type so i would understand seme if he chooses not tell yet. Not because he doesnt trust uke, but maybe he just thinks its not the right time yet. He wants to once do something on his own without anyone help to prove that he deserves uke.
