This will be weird for investigators to sort. There are dozens of (hostile) witnesses who place Aria at the party before her stepfather was pushed down the stairs. There are only the Crown Prince and the other noble who can place her at the Lodge on the border a few minutes after.

not really, they only saw aria enter the manor and she wasn't seen after that since she stayed in her room. like if it takes 1hr to travel to the nobles home from arias house and the accident happened 1hr after she arrived home, aria is free to go. it all depends pn the time and the apparent distanced they travelled I guess

Did you read the book? (Genuine question. I haven't.) Did you find that logic flawed? Because the areas of concern for me, were I to pretend-sleuth my way through this, would be how so many people saw her enter but nobody saw her leave; and how the only people who know she's at the lodge are the Crown Prince (a witness whose impartiality can be dismissed on the basis of their relationship), and that one nobleman. It's just a bit lop-sided and shambolic as hastily thrown-together, magically-enhanced alibis go.

Yes, yes I did and the book actually ties it off SO well. If it weren't for the way the accident happened, and certain details that they happened to think of covering it could have honestly went either way. As I was reading even I thought it was a very clever stretch. I'll try my best to explain without spoiling to much.
1- How did she leave? Well they could easily say that since she left in secret she went through a back or side door (there's no way the front door is the only entrance), or even that she snuck out though her window and avoided everyone.
2- Witnesses/ evidence. The Prince is part of the story, however, the nobleman is not specifically on their side. The book actually makes it much clearer, the secluded lodge that Asher takes Aria to is actually a good long distance away as is the castle they're currently at. The nobleman himself is just a random person who's castle they came to "for a place to stay a while." Basically their plan is to make it look like Aria wasn't home, AND was far away at the time the crime was committed. What they're doing now is creating a witness AND evidence. The witness being the nobleman the evidence being the IOU Aria insisted he write up (date, time, and location included) for her to sign off on. The time and location would show that it couldn't have been her because where she is now is several hours away by carriage and the time's are to close together for her to have pushed the Count and then fled there with the Prince. Further more they're not done yet, their journey isn't over. They're planning to head back while making a fuss to create more witnesses and evidence to make it seem like she wasn't around at the time and was far from the scene.
When they brought it all together at the end in trail I was really impressed, they came up with a really good plan and they covered all their bases as well as they could. Plus Mielle really F'd herself up with this one and Aria took full advantage and busted her shit.
Ack, the excitement and suspense!
