The rule makes sense considering the setting of an apocalypse where resources are scarce and the fact the punishment was based on voting but bro that was so cruel.. like i get the fact that punishment was done to instill fear and fairness but a BAT?? What would’ve happened if people voted against it?? Did they all vote because they GENUINELY believed he should die for that?? Or the fact they think that death is valid bc he broke a rule (yea kinda cult-y) Cus yea it’s the law to not steal but the decision was still based on the crowd
