I have definitely read dumb fl stories and Olga is not that dumb. Like she was manipulated and gaslit by her ex and killed, but as shown by her being hurt knowing he was cheating for YEARS, she still holds some faith in him. From her pov Sergio killed her accidentally, there is no way she'd think that he'd toss Olga the 2nd of the balcony in cold blood. The last time, she was provoking him, threatening to use the goddesses gift against him. Also, he's the actual dumb fuck in this situation, he needs the goddess prayer bs, and he tossed the saintess off the balcony??? Also also, Olga KNOWS he needs Olga 2 alive for the prayers, so again, that's another point for she wouldn't expect him to be that dumb and bloodthirsty. This mistake is not an unreasonable one to make. This all happened quickly after her death, so cut her some slack.
She's honestly pretty level headed and proactive compared to similar stories, even her failure at the second chance of life, is less because she failed, and more that again, Sergio is a complete illogical wild card. Regrouping to attempt and secure the dutchy untill she figures out their next move MAKES SENSE. There was no possible way to even assume he'd just, murder his brother like that.
She's told point blank by Ath that she needs to HEAVILY focus on revenge, showing her how twisted and crazy Sergio is, which is information she should have known from the begining if she was truly supposed to succeed. She knew he'd cause a blood bath, but she probably assumed it was because he'd make a stupid king, not because he's actually a homicidal maniac. Like a crime of passion that's and accident is way different than systematically hunting down and killing your family and political rivals. Like you could argue the goddess should have shown Olga this information, but realistically, if the goddess already had such a harsh punishment from turning back time, she probably tried to do as much as she could within already breaking rules. It makes more sense that knowledge of other timelines is actually aths domain.
Like, characters acting like humans always seem to equal "weak" or "dumb" but like, we are looking in at these stories with perfect vision on the motives and mechanizations behind any mistakes. I honestly find this story to be a lot more down to earth than a lot of these stories usually tend to be. Also FL making mistakes and learning from them is so much more entertaining than perfect everyone loves me FLs.
Anyways, I really hate that no one seems to be giving this story a chance
It's actually super cute, and there are some plot points that are really new. Also Sergio the main villain is fucking insane and he has surprised me at every turn. It's not often we get stupid AND bloodthirsty.
ML is low-key the weakest part of this story, so it makes sense he's getting hate.
Author should have waited before introducing him, in my opinion. Give him more time to develope as a character or something. Great story otherwise

The whole reason I picked this up was to have some satisfying romance. I was so hopeful, I'm tired of stories with bad romance or badly written women. This story is slightly good at least, but like, compared to "Strongest Ever" this is such a let down.
When a good portion of mcs backstory is the FL it's sad that their signs of romance are so small. Give me more
what do you mean badly written women?? all the women here aren't useless like the other characters from other bullshit manhwas. if those big boobs, almost always half naked, over emotional type of whores is your definition of a "good written" female character then this is not a place for you. you're better off reading some other generic ass manhwas, like all the other incels.

Well like no offense, if you had any reading comprehension you'd be able to deduce I was complaining about the romance not the women. Just because I complained as well about badly written women in other pieces does not instantly mean that I was saying this about the story .
"Bad Romance or badly written women" the main conjunction their being OR meaning I don't want one or the other. I specifically said I picked this story for the ROMANCE. Nothing in my comment said anything bad about this story other than dislikeing the romantic plot lines.

1)Barely any webtoons have the proper tags especially when they first get uploaded, which is when I read and dropped this (the amount of yaoi tagged stuff on non yaoi content is a great example of this)
2) , MOST of the good stories with romance usually aren't even tagged as romance (I assume because the og webtoon doesn't want to make their comic seem "girly" or whatever)
Unfortunately, I'm someone who likes nuance in my stories, and I enjoy romantic subplots
And so this brings me to 3). Subplots being the main point here, as they almost always ARENT tagged.
The summary LEGITIMATELY mentions the woman he loved, for something that's supposed to be a MAJOR character defining moment (her dying) I was expecting something at least entertaining and heart wrenching. I didn't want the romance all throughout the story, but I expected something better for what was supposed to be important to his character.
If you can't handle the romance being criticized when they make is a focal point of the characters backstory maybe you shouldn't read the comments.
Just because it's not tagged doesn't mean that someone can't dislike the way it's written or portrayed. It's lazy writing and bad. The author thought the romantic plot point was important enough to put in the story's summary, so I have plenty of reason to have expected something good. And it wasn't good, it was rushed and nearly non-existent. At least where I dropped it, maybe it's better now, who knows.
Anyways, I apologize I got mad, I just really get tired of people jumping on me by nit-picking aspects of what I say and seemingly being deliberately obtuse when replying. Like i know people get frustrated with it. But I actually like the way Hana and Aoi are. Its very simple and seems more dramatic than it is, and isnt that how romance is at that age?
And I think the whole point, is that ANYONE could have been his first fan. Thats the point. Its an immature simple infatuation. And I feel like thats why its also not being pursued. Its not bad to find comfort, but both of them also are pursuing their own goals.
I enjoy seeing Aoi act his age. Having conversations with Hana bring him back down to where normal people are, and its a nice break from intensity.
Though, Slam Dunk is one of my all time favorites, so maybe i just like my sports manga with at least a lil romance. The cheesier the better.
The problem is its out of place and put in random.. captain tsubasa had better romance plot than this and the sad part is their scene isnt even that much... while in this the romance is basically shoved into the reader eyes in the most unnatural way to the point it makes you skip the chapter

though i havent read Captain Tsubasa, I usually read Adachis works, and this feels very similar to some of them. Not as elegant, because adachi usually has a more mature idealistic tone (despite the pervy comedy). Ill try tsubasa and maybe ill change my mind.
Man, this makes me so sad, thats its complete on a cliff hanger. And with the mangaka so old, I highly doubt hes gonna revive an 8 year old abandoned work. still, I really enjoyed this.
Finally. I hope that henry doesn't make the same mistake as mister king trash. He needs to properly communicate with Navier. The whole reason trash was trash was because instead of trusting and communicating he started to ceiw her as a pawn and tried to hide things.
Ok. Arts Gorgeous. That's a given. The characters? Kinda badly written. The two maids barely have presence, the 2nd in command hasn't had screentime in a while. The characters all look the same except colors, no one has a distinct style to help differentiate. The only character with any distinct personality is that flower b*tch. ML has trauma, but he's way to back and forth, and not in an enjoyable way. It's like Author wants us to get doki dokis at some scenes, and then just excuses it as "ML runs hot and cold".
FL is the most irritating because she's at the very least 1 or 2 hundred years old, but she DOESN'T act like it. She's also somehow both incredibly powerful yet ALWAYS being defeated or saved by ML, and sometimes the story will try and explain why she lost, but it always feels like such a cop out.
This all makes the plot seem incredibly boring, because in the grand scheme of the story, they got married, fought 2nd in commands yokai, went to capital, and that's it. Like, ML also has like zero motivation, at first he wants to avoid politics and then he throws it away for fl?? Even for love at first sight that's a ridiculous thing to do. Sister needs to be healed but she has a baby, ok, why can't they, idk, fake sisters death and leave the capital? They stay, and they're like I need a reason to stay, and somehow her reviving snow magic is enough of a reason?
Also the like, suspense behind the king and his followers doesn't even work, cause it's just them standing around smirking and looking hot.
There's nothing pushing the reader to want to uncover the plots or follow the characters.
Again, I know there are worst stories, but idk, I always can at least handle shitty basic stories because they all follow tropes and those tropes work, even if they are basic. Like they use a basic character and at least it's a full character just kinda basic and boring, FL and ML just feel like pretty designs doing things without any logic or reasoning
Even MLs trauma isnt very fleshed out because it's like it's there one moment and gone the next.
