Finished all of the chapters in one sitting and I FELL IN LOVE with this webtoon!
SPOILERS:
Checked the raws because I could't wait and now I'm just in fucking shock from what I just saw ('Rough sex' more like SA to me)
I was heavily in denial so I tried looking for the novel too and it showed the same scene albeit worse because it's more detailed
This got me spechless so quick. It's like the Mr. Kang at the park swing and Mr. Kang at Chapter 100-102 are TWO SEPARATE PEOPLE. HELP ME. I need to sit down and think and even compartmentalize this.
For context:
Kang got jealous when a friend of Do mentioned his ex girlfriend. When they got back, MC wanted sex but Kang told him he might be rough with him because of his jealousy and MC told him he could teach him what rough sex was.
During the whole thing, Kang practically pushed MC to his limits. He forced his way in without lubrication to the point that MC bled. MC has expressed many times that it hurt but Kang told him to shut up. He even told MC that for every time MC said something negative, they won't stop having sex. Morning after, MC scolded him saying that he asked for rough sex not Kang to treat him cruelly.
Thinking of skipping the chapters for this part. This was already going so great

Basically in the novel, Yunshin has been like “i like it when youre rough” and although Sehun warned him that he hasnt seen what its like when hes angry and rough, but Yunshin keeps egging him on.
It does get extremely rough and Yunshin learned his lesson the hard way TT but this is one real instance of “he asked for it”
That is to say, im not saying its good to be borderline grapey.

Yes, MC asked for rough sex. But like he said in the novel: "I asked to have rough sex, not to treat me cruelly." In which he is definitely right.
Rough sex is consensual playful aggression. What Kang did is one-sided and cruel. MC should've enjoyed it but he didn't.
("Even though Sehun said he would be rough, Yoonshin expected somewhat to feel good in the act, but apparently, he didn't know Sehun well enough.")
So I beg to differ that it's a real instance of "he asked for it".
Kang shouldn't shut off his brain and go at it whatever he likes just cause MC asked for it. At the end of the day, MC is his lover, not someone to take out his anger on. That's why he should've been checking if MC is actively enjoying the aggressive behavior he's doing to him. Kang explained his reasons for his behavior but ahh, I'm still on the fence about it.
Just wanna preface that I'm not angry at you though! I'm only frustrated with the author. I just wish the scene was written better.
Are there any plans to make this into a book? I'd love to get a physical copy of this PEAK!
