This relationship feels so realistic once they move in together. While it may be boring to some, like there is no plot, it certainly captures some of the mundane aspects of life and how these "small, boring" aspects still play such a big role in the relationship. Time management, seperate goals, being in different points in your life, navigating your individuality while in this relationship, how to support your partner or understand their hardships/lows, etc. This is how you grow as a couple, this is how you share a life with someone.

After isolation comes control, gaslighting, mc might realize at that point that something is not right, somehow find proof of just how crazy ml is, try to confri t him only for violence to escalate ( either ml hurting himself or somehow ruining mc life) triggering the trauma bond, now it's even harder to leave, but mc is miserable and ml sees he failed like his father did.
