I think this story was a japanese manga. AOB, a group of guys find out their secondary genders (A,O or B). I think there's supposed to be some fated type pair thing with this. They reveal their genders in school rooftop I think. One of the guy friends (alpha) bites and rapes(?) MC (omega), although it happens later in the story after the reveal of their genders. ML(alpha?) who is also friends with MC beats up guy? MC and ML had already promised to be together or get married. Years pass. ML and MC are together, they're scientists or smth like that, and MC endures heats by themself or they're like painful or smth???? Tbh don't really remember the story. Do remember a bit where the friend who rapes MC sees MC later in life and regrets what he did. Turns out they were supposed to be fated pairs but bc he raped MC, MC doesn't love him and MC always loved ML.

I love that this is not a happy ending, it's important to note that I'm reading this more as a thriller/horror vs romance. So many victims really are stuck in that cycle and so many are dragged back into the cycle even after they're left. The MCs healing, moving forward and overcoming was controlled by his abuser. The portayal of the abuser, the victim, the helper are all so accurate in DV situations. The end, where the MC looks back at you and his face is almost defeated. Ugh. So good.
Gonna be picking this up now that it has been marinating. Wanna know who endgame is or it seems like it is gonna be, can someone spoil?

Wish we had gotten a second part to this, like them learning to have a healthy relationship. But tbh obsessive ML like this are my fave. Put themselves in danger, do whatever the MC wants but in the end with the intention of completely controlling MC.
