So true, I lowkey like reading stories where the ml just hates the mc for a valid reason because of their standings or preconceived notions about the other. However, the more they get to know them, the scenes where they become confused about why certain things aren’t adding up or something, hgffff I love that shit. AND THEN THE GROVEL. WE ALL LOVE A GOOD GROVEL



Of course, the downside is that it’s hard to find stories like this, especially ones that are well written. I’ve sadly only read a few that didn’t make me completely detest the ml the more I read ;;

Like, you can make us hate the ml but only for the first 25% of the book at most. Then 50% teetering, then the last 25% loving them. Gives a nice tension while also not making you want to drop the book because the ml is that detestable.(and I’m the type to be REALLY lenient on asshole mls, so if they get on my nerves, it’s saying something) and the last 25% is just for me to feel happy and heal from the angst of the first part lol

Anyway, more stories where there’s actually intense enemies to lovers and less stories of supposedly enemies to lovers but the ml is just a tsundere with the emotional intelligence of a pickle glued to cardboard!

Like, you have to be REALLY hot or cute for me to like the toxic tsundere ones. Which are very different from the cold tsundere ones btw(where they just act coldly cause they can’t say shit or else they’ll become all blushy and mush) I’m talking about the very specific toxic tsundere bully ml that makes me pull my hair out. The only time I can stand it is if they’re exactly my type(yes I’m superficial as heck and pretty privilege is real) or they somehow handle it well, or the mc doesn’t take any of their shit and turns them into a sobbing mess cause changing power dynamics is really nice lol

OMG YOU WROTE EVERYTHING I COULD'VE SAID AND MORE. finding some good isekai is so hard nowadays that i reread the ones in my already read! that story ratio percentage you did is so valid, and we cant forget cute extras at the end. if you're willing to share any you got, please hit me up i love the isekai i read after like 5 stories of shounen ai. gotta have a good ratio of reading ongoings so that you're not always waiting on the same story ykyk
