am i understanding this right? when doha ejected bada's tape, he turned into an npc, but the bada we've seen throughout the whole story WAS npc bada, who was also playing at the same time (but he wasn't actually playing, doha and seongchan had just trained him into doing so by pretending to act like npcs)?
i'm soo shocked and cannot even begin to imagine the identity crisis bada is having right now. and the way they all played along?? i am so surprised bada hasn't fully crashed out because the shit he is going through would've made me lose my mind wayy long ago.
what i'm having a hard time understanding is when seongchan says bada realises he couldn't call the shots, they 'erased his memories'? how does that work? bada's tape is still ejected, right? because he's still an npc? so how are they erasing his memories?? unless i'm thinking wrong. bada's tape has been ejected this whole time ever since doha took it out, right?

ohh i see! i've been mistaking an npc and an extra as the same thing lol. so even if his tape is inserted into a cassette player he doesn't become a player. and when they say they're erasing his memories, they're ejecting his tape and therefore resetting npc bada's memory. so if his tape is ejected he loses all of his (npc) memories and turns into the extra at the start of the game. okok ty for the explanation :p

i'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that EVERYONE except bada were players and chose to take out their tapes for their own sanity. now i'm really curious about npc bada
i also really loved yong-taek's small arc. i liked his character and i'm sad it's coming to an end but i AM excited to learn more about doha & seongchan

my first thought was that someone made a fake of yong-taek's cassette (that someone being doha, i was already suspicious of him) but i really like the theory of there being multiple cassette tapes per character. i think it makes sense with everyone's memory being all weird.
but if there are multiple cassette tapes, and some are either a newer/older save, i realize that the development & knowledge of the characters we've seen could literally be erased so easily. and now that we know everyone's memory is unreliable, i wonder how long bada has actually been stuck in dreadful night for

one of the few bls which have me so incredibly immersed in the plot to the point where the romance feels secondary to me! i love the unique use of cliches and the restarting of the game (though i feel like it is heavily dependent on the killer acting as a cliche themself, and so i wonder if the killer will ever become an anomaly?)
also im not sure if im overthinking this but i feel like we r gonna get some crazy lore/backstory with bada bc it was mentioned that he had an unstable memory and couldnt remember anything about his life before being stuck in dreadful night (like how did he come to play the game in the first place?)
also i LOVE how the supporting characters actually contribute to the plot, like them gaining sentience and the different cassette tapes dedicated to each character's save. so far all of them have turned from an npc to a playable character apart from jae-seob so i suspect he will be next
and doha is such a mystery to me; i feel like there is def so much more to his character that the author is not letting us in on. i saw another comment that said he might've had something to do with bada's unstable memory and i agree
i wanna know yall's theories on whats gonna happen next (。•ᴗ-)
cant wait to see how different npc bada is now that he's lost all of his memories anyone know how long it will take for s3 to come out?
I'm assuming based on pervious uploads maybe in August
Im on the fence that Bada will revert back to an npc because of this info I read on ch8: If the game player dies without saving, it’s game over, and that session will be lost.
I hope this helps! (I still have to add info from season 2 tho)
