SO SO SO GOOD the rape scene was unecessary but GOD i cant wait for the next chapter (I have five papers due tomorrow that I havent started because Ive been so hooked)
Cesar is completely deranged and lacking almost all sanity. He's a militarized child and a sociopath - esentially a yandere. Considering all the other things he's done, rape isn't even the worst crime. He even shot him lmfao. Point is, Lee Won is also crazy af for still pining for the dude. This ain't some fluffy ily feeling. It's supposed to be this weird twisted love and it's done pretty well. I also like how the authors dont try to make him a good guy. Considering Lee Won's personality and the type of person he's basically decided to be with, I think it makes sense it would just be moved past, at lwast for this story. Never in real life ofc
I understand why people felt that the ending was *unsatisfactory* meaning that it didnt have any side stories or more explanation as to what happened after. HOWEVER as an author and someone who analyses text often I found beauty in it. I found that personally if it went any longer it could have felt dragged on. Plus it leaves the reader with a sense of resolve and content and I also think that it showed how the main character finally got good closure. Yet the rape scene (especially beween the two leads) was highly unecessary and shows cultural normalisation of sexual/mental abuse in the potrayal of MLM relationships. However the story brings emotion to the viewer and brought me to tears. (mY opinion!! I believe that all are valid)
