One old man’s ambition and another’s silence during was the cause of all this bs. I really hope the story follows the novel where Keira just goes off on her own. Like I’m glad she got somewhat of a closure from her dad and had support from two dudes, but home girl’s got too much trauma. She needs a break from these men (the brother’s cool tho lol).

I followed this series for so long but dropped it… Decided to pick it up and again for ol times sake and just damn. This is definitely Ogawa’s level of dark, but I feel so unsatisfied. It just felt like Ogawa was trying to wrap up the series as quick as possible and so made it feel like the whole caste system game was for nothing. All the bullying, rape and torturing each other was just for the edginess… Glad I can say I finally finished this series tho
