So he left his lover
...JUST BECAUSE? Uhm... I had a good time reading this and all, but I was expectong some tragic reveal. Some, all my family died, I killed a guy, something. Instead it's... Shit got real so I ran. WHAT? I guess that's terrifyingly realistic.

You actually gave the best response I've seen. However, like Rheina and Khayphang you're still giving Shinobu a pass since all three of you are more concerned about Shinobu's reactions rather than how Shinobu affected the young kouhai who was his lover. In essence, despite the protestations against his actions, you are all three basically condoning what he did.

HECK NO.I'm complaining about the plot. The fact that Shinobu is a selfish twat who had no justification for his actions is actually what happens in real life. I don't read yaoi to be reminded of that. He's such a realistic jerk that it is unbelievable that they get together in the end, and I found it unsatisfying. Ptooey.

How old is old? Folk get forced to retire at 60, but I think 70 is where you can safely call folk old. In manga world, people start calling anybody over 20 "old". But with life expectancy in the industrial world at 100-- 50 is actually MIDDLE AGED. Seriously, people am I the only MIDDLE AGED FUJOSHI? How embarrassing. For YOU. Damn teenagers. Get off my lawn!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I was about to make a similar comment...
When you are in your fifties you are not old, you are just middle aged (with a lot of things to live yet!). I mean in the real world you wouldn't call Brand Pitt or George Clooney old men would you?
The same goes for what is considered "age gap" in yaoi. For me to have up to 10 years difference with your partner is pretty normal and common. And under some circumstances (both persons being adults, the older person does not look older than his age, both persons being at the same page in their lives etc) a relationship with up to 15 years of difference might also look natural without being labelled as an "age gap relationship"...

Don't worry. We're friends. I'm old too. Being a Madao (reference from Gintama) and all, you know.

I am in my 20s and i always feel lonely because it's hard to find 'older' fujoshis.
Love this comic. Love stories about struggling creators and lonely people. So good. SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD.
