Can't believe I read so much of this. I feel like I've been looking into the brain of a very shallow 13 year old boy.
I agree. This story is a textbook wish fulfilment story of a...dark minded sex deprived teen. That being said, I'm a simple man in the end. I love reincarnation stories and this is similar. And this is just that. Plus, while ridiculous, the smut isn't terrible to read through either. It could have done without, but I don't mind it being in.
This is abuse, not play. He's been abused since before the age of consent. The violence is unsafe-- anal tears are serious, piercing someone without informed consent is just... I know a lot of you will say this is just fantasy, but like with all art, when it justifies stereotypes or supports misinformation, the audience has to call it out.
There are several aspects of this story that are disturbing if taken literally. You have every right to talk about that. But I am not sure I see the stereotypes. I know Yoai often treats teen and even younger people as if they have adult minds (I am not always happy with that either) but none the less I think there are other ways to see this, if you want to. I guess I am wondering what harmful ideas in real life you think are reinforced by this fantasy?
Note to self. When I don't like a manga, it is okay to stop reading before the end.
Somebody smack me.
