Welp ML at the time felt conflicted on whether or not to help him cuz of his obsessive feelings towards Reinhardt(he felt he could finally monopolize her) but when he finally resolved to go and help him (since he also did feel a connection with him as his discipline) it was already too late

I really like how the story progressed and mc realized her immaturity as a teenager but also how she let all her feelings out on that novel. Although I wish the ending had a different ending it's still pretty decent tbh
