okay so my friend is in a really shitty situation, and i mean like super fucking bad, and she comes to me for some type of support? but like in a way that she’ll tell me what’s happened/ happening and i’ll try and empathise or find a small solution and then she’ll say “it doesn’t matter my life’s great”
and like i recognise that that’s not a healthy way to be thinking and i try to clarify that with her but she changes the topic.

i’m not in the best place either but it’s entirely mentally whereas for her, she doesn’t live with her parents anymore but lives really far away with some friend and has to get the train to school every morning..
there are a few other people in our friendship group but she’s not too close with them so she basically tells me all this really traumatic shit and plays it off as casual convo and they know this and keep telling me to get her to contact the authorities or something to get her in like a foster home or something and they keep saying that they’re gonna bring it up with her that she needs to take action and that they’ll try and talk to her about it too but they never do ,, and it’s no like they’re bad people but their home lives are a lot more manageable and peaceful so i don’t think they really understand what that would be like for her


sorry for the rant but like i have no one else to got to so i hope some of yall can give me any advice?? pls help
