I have been reading this over like a period of 2 years now. Regardless I do agree with some that it has changed but I don’t hate it or anything. It’s okay and I still think the plot has potential. I started reading shoujo mangas since I was 11 and now I’m 19 and the way I would have loved this when I was younger. But now that I understand more some things are just icky. Like the ml’s perspective about other girls not including the fl. Like he thinks they are clingy, fake and always hung up on him. You know how the fl is not like other girls. I mean the fl is not a pick me so that’s a relief. Aside from that we got our mandatory chapter four misunderstanding. AND ALWAYS IN THESE SITUATIONS THE OTHER PERSON IS THE MAIN CHARACTER’S BROTHER OR SISTER. Sometimes even mother dude.

We saw a lot of plot points and this is normally when something has to go uphill. The writer set us up to believe siyun is gonna get better and then they pull this shit. I knew for a fact that Siyun didn’t kill the father because if he did, there genuinely would be no going back. At least that didn’t happen thankfully. But to continue to elongate this and then the spoilers for the next part is just unnecessary. Siyun deserves his redemption and healing arc and he DESERVES IT NOW!! I said what I said.

Normally I don’t get emotionally invested in these manhwas cause the plot is always the same. But with camellia, I can’t help but feel angry for her. Nobody in her family, I repeat NOBODY protected her or cared for her. Her real mom is ignorant and her step mom is the devil’s spawn fr. Her father is an idiot who never cared for her or her opinions. He was the one who consciously cheated and gave birth to Camellia and didn’t even take responsibility. He should be ashamed. And her brother is useless too cause he kept quiet for so long about the lake incident. Camellia should beat the step mother, then slap her father and brother and then slap the mother again.
