it always screams conversion therapy to me.
i really don't think those stories are for BL-readers, for the lack of any other BL relationship in them, or anyone being bi. i think they are for the type of girls who've seen fanart of hua cheng or any hot guy and were disappointed to find out it's a BL story lol
